Alina Cociere

Alina Cociere (b. 1960, Chisinau) is a contemporary abstract artist. She studied painting at the State Art Institute V.I. Suricov in Moscow, and she worked as a Head of the Graphic Department at the State Art Institute in Chisinau. In the 1990s, Alina moves to France, where she lives and works now.

Drawing inspiration from nature, Alina uses intuition, psychological states, and the basis of academic art to create dynamic abstract compositions. Her artwork is a reflection of the world around us as well as an invitation to explore the mysteries of the inner world.

Alina Cociere has participated in many exhibitions in Europe and her works are in private and public collections in France and around the world.
